Avarice comes from Aalborg in Denmark and was formed in 2006. After two demos, the adventure was already over in 2008. Almost. Because in 2021, the band regrouped and released the EP “Reborn In Blood.” Yep, the band was reborn. Now, the Danes are finally ready with their debut album, and the result is far from bad. The album has good sound quality, and the band plays well. The band’s melodic death metal may not be the most original – “Avarice” can remind you a bit of the Gothenburg bands in the same genre. So it’s not the world’s most exciting release. But the songs are good enough to captivate the listener. Fans of melodic death metal can safely check out this band.
