The sad news hit us yesterday that K.H. Horisont, real name Torbjørn Thrane Sandness, has left us. K.H. Horisont was the bass player for Taakeferd and Nordvrede. He played on all Taakeferd releases, and on the debut album “Hammerprofeti” from 2008 by Nordvrede. Taakeferd hails from Tromsø in the northern part of Norway. The band started under the moniker Children of Carpathia in 1999, before changing their name the following year. Their latest album, “Mitt septer for et tusenårsrike”, was released in 2020.
