Darkthrone has announced a new album and it has been titled “It Beckons Us All……”. Connoisseurs of Iron Maiden may recognize this phrase from Iron Maiden’s classic “Children of the Damned” from 1982.
“He’s walkin’ like a dead man
If he had lived, he would have crucified us all
Now he’s standing on his last step
He thought oblivion, well, it beckons us all”
Fenriz recently confirmed in a video that the title is taken from the aforementioned Iron Maiden song. Darkthrone’s new album “It Beckons Us All……” will be released on April 26th on Peaceville Records.
