American Municipal Waste is now coming out with their seventh album, “Electrified Brain”, and once again, we’re talking about intense crossover thrash metal with plenty of humor and groove. The band excels in riffs that really put your neck muscles to the test. Just listen to the middle section of the title track “Electrified Brain”. It’s hard to sit still. Riffs like these don’t come along every day, so they’re truly something to appreciate. It’s also good to report that the band still delivers at a high level and only seems to get stronger with the years. Naturally, everything else about this release is on point as well. Great production, solid tracks, cool artwork, and skilled performances on the instruments. Fans of Municipal Waste are unlikely to be disappointed with this album.
